Mini Hats - Crochet Pattern Collection of Mini Hats

This is a fun Collection of Mini Hat 
Free Crochet Patterns.
These are called "Mini Hats" Because the sit on top of the head.
You can add ties to keep them on.They are intended as
 photo props or for fun costumes, not for warmth.

The Model in this photograph is my Dog,
He is a professional Dog Model.
He loves to model and is paid a very high salary,
of  dog treats for every modeling session.
He often" whines" for a raise, and I am so appreciative of 
his work that I  have been known to give him 
several "raises" in one photo session.
These fun Little Hats can be used for 
human photo props too!
They are perfect for setting on a baby's head,  
or even as on a adults head for fun!

Mini Elf Hat Crochet Pattern

Mini Elf And Santa Hats Crochet Pattern

Materials :
Crochet Hook - H / 5. MM
Yarn - Worsted Weight (4)  - Red Heart - Super saver (4)
            Spring green C1, Golden rod C2,  Red C3 - Elf
Stitch Marker
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain ( ch)
Single crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
half Double crochet ( hdc)

Size: 5 X 4 inches

Note : The Top of the hat is worked in rounds.

R: 1 - With C1, Ch 2, 4 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. 
Mark your rounds with a stitch marker. (4sc)

R: 2 - *1 sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat 1 time,
(6sc)
 .
R: 3 - 1 sc in the next st, *2 sc in the next, 1 sc in the next 2 sts*
Repeat * to *1 time, 1 sc in the last sc. (8sc)

R: 4 - *1 sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the st*, repeat from * to * around (10sc)

R: 5 - *1 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat from * to * around, 1 sc in the last sc,
(13sc)

R: 6 - *1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st*, repeat from * to * around, 1 sc in the last sc, (16sc)

R: 7 - *1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st*, repeat from * to * around (20sc)

R : 8 - *1 sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat from * to * around
(24sc)

R: 9 - *1 sc in the next 5 sts, 2 sc in the next st*, repeat from * to * around
(28)

R: 10 - R 13 -1 sc in each sc around, slst in the next sc,  (28sc)
For Santa Hat - Repeat For 3 more Rounds

R: 14  - change to C2, ch 2, leave C1 attached,
1 hdc in each sc around, join to 1st hdc with a sl st, ch 2 (28hdc)

R: 15 - 1 hdc in each hdc around, join to 1st hdc with a sl st, ch 1 (28hdc)
For Santa Hat tie off, Weave your ends.

R: 16 - Change  to C1, tie off C2, 1 sc in each hdc, join, ch 1(28sc)

R: 17- 1 sc in each sc, join, ch 1(28sc)

R: 18 - 1 sc in each sc, join, tie off, weave in ends.(28sc)

Leaf - With C4. ch 7, 1 sc in the 2nd and 3rd ch, 1 hdc in the next 2 chs, 
1 sc in the next 2 chs, 
WORKING DOWN THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE CH, 
1 sc in the 1st 2 chs, 1 hdc in the next 2 chs, 1 sc in the next 2 chs,
 join to the 1st sc, tie off leaving a 10 inch yarn tail.

Place Leaf on the hat at the band line, and sew in place.
Santa Hat - 

Little loopy Pompom -
Cut a 12 in piece of yarn, lay it out. Wrap yarn around your 2 fingers about 18 to 10 times, cut and lay on the yarn laid out. Tie securely, no not cut loops. Attach to the top of the hat.

I have been working on this Wrap For about 3 weeks.
I wanted it to be elegant, classy 
and yet casual all at the same time.

I decided to go with a fall color,but this wrap can
 be worked in any colors and be wonderful to wear.
I absolutely love how it turned out.
I used the open wave pattern,
 but stair stepped the rows to make a fun design.

Lace Pumpkin Wrap Shawl Crochet Pattern

Yarn- Caron Simply Soft (4) - Pumpkin 6 oz
Other yarns that will work -
I Love This yarn (4)  or Red Heart Soft, also Vanna's Choice

Stitches:
Chain: (ch)
Single Crochet ( sc)
Half Double Crochet ( hdc)
Double Crochet ( dc)
Triple Crochet ( tr)
Skip a stitch ( sk)

Note: Ch1 at end  of rows is a turning ch, does not count as a st.

R : 1 - Ch 172, 1 hdc in the 2nd ch and in each ch across, ch 1, turn
( 171 hdc  )

R : 2 - 1sc in the 1st 3 hdc,
*ch1, sk 1, 1hdc, ch1, sk1,   1 dc, ch1, sk1,    1tr, ch1, sk1,   1dc, ch1, sk1,
 1hdc, ch1, sk1,    1sc in the next 3 hdc*


Repeat From * to * across Row, ch 1, turn
(12 wave patterns, 3 sc)

R : 3- 1 hdc in each st across, ch 1, turn ( 171 hdc)

R : 4 - 1 tr in the 1st 2 hdc, ch1, sk1,   1dc, ch1, sk1,   1hdc, ch1, sk1,

*1 sc in the next 3 hdc, ch1, sk 1,    1hdc, ch1, sk1,   1dc, ch1, sk1,
1tr, ch1, sk 1,   dc, ch1,sk1,  1 hdc, ch1, sk1 *

Repeat From * to * across row 11 times,

ending row with  3 sc, ch1, sk1,    1hdc, ch1 sk1,    1dc, ch1 sk1,  2 tr, ch1 turn

( 11 wave patterns, 2 half waves - 1 on each end)


R : 5 - 1 hdc in each st across, ch 1, turn ( 171 hdc)

R : 6 - 1 hdc in each st across, ch 15, turn ( 171 hdc, 15 chs)

R : 7 - 1 hdc in the 2nd ch and in each ch, 1 hdc in the next 157 sts,
 leaving the last 14 sts unworked, ch1 turn.  ( 171 hdc)


Repeat R : 2-7 - 8 more times, for 9 stair steps.

You can do more repeats for larger wrap is desired.

For finished edge - sc evenly around all the edges. 
 Front of Wrap
Back of wrap when worn.

Yoga Sock Crochet Pattern

Well, I didn't know I needed Yoga socks,
 until I started yoga!  LOL!!
I used to think it was silly to have socks without heels.
 I started doing Yoga and realized just how
 important they actually are.
You need your toes and heels out to
 keep from slipping off your yoga mat.

I have made this pattern using different weight yarns, 
so it is important to measure you ankle, 
Before you get stated.

 using Worsted weight Yarn
The Sock are 9 inches around the ankle.

Yarn - Worsted Weight Yarn ( 4)
Solid C1 -2 oz.
Variegated C2 - 3 oz.

Stitches -
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet ( hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front post Double Crochet ( fpdc)
Back Loop Only ( blo)

Note ; Ch1 does not counts as a st.

R : 1 - With C1, Ch 5, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook
 and in each ch across, ch1 turn ( 4 sc)

R : 2 - Working in the blo, 1 sc in each sc, ch1, turn. ( 4 sc)

R : 3 - 30  - Repeat R : 2

Join the 2 ends together and slst closed to form the ankle
 band of the sock.

R : 31 - Change to C2, 1 sc in each row around,
 join to the 1st sc, ch1 ( 30sc)

R : 32  - 1 sc in each sc, join, ch 1 ( 30 sc)

R : 33-37 -Repeat R : 32

R : 38 -sc in the 1st 15 sc, ch 15, skip the next 15 sc, 
attach ch to the 1st sc, join, ch 1
(15 sc, 15ch)

R : 39 - 1 sc in each sc and in each ch, join, ch 1(30sc)

R : 40-47 - 1 sc in each sc, join, ch 1 ( 30 sc)

R : 48 - Change to C1, 1 hdc in each sc around, join, 
ch 2 ( 30 hdc)

R : 49-  *1 hdc in the next st, 1 fpdc in the next st,
 * Repeat From * to * around.join, ch2. ( 15 hdc, 15 fpdc)

R : 50 - Repeat R: 49, tie off and weave in your ends.

A Cute and Fun Halloween Decoration.


Isn't This The Cutest thing!
I Love the neon yarns 
and wanted to incorporate them in a fun
 little witch hat.


This hat just sits on top of the head.
 It can used as a photo prop for pets, 
and humans alike!
It is about 5.5 inches tall and 
12 inches around at the brim.
I even added a cute little spider
 button I got from Hobby Lobby.
